There are five unmarked headstones under the tree in the front yard.  There is a flower garden around them.  It is said that Martin & Sarah Catherine are buried here, along with their daughter, Lucy, who died of TB at the age of 25.  It is also speculated that Martin's parents, John Bays and Margaret "Peggy" Webb Bays are the other two stones.
